Anyone remember your military branches catch slogan from when you decided to sign your life over?

I can even recall what my Recruiter said and told me before I signed with the AirForce…. "You scored so high in all the entrance catagories, you can take any job you want!… just go in under 'general enlistment'…." What he didn’t say was the most important point…. they had to have an OPENING in that job category for you to sign up for it!

In '76 when it was "Join the People who've joined the army".
Well…. personally, I've always thought they would make a good "used car salesman" in the civilian world, for sure!

….and make note, I’m not disparaging Recruiters in comparing them to "car salesmen"…. I did that myself for a few years in the early 80s…. of course I wasn’t really too successful at it and that’s why I changed vocations…. "too honest" to be successful myself….

When I was in college Air Force slogan was "Aim High".
