I have a Griffin Optimus 9 that I primarily run on my 10/22 and my Evo. Ive been considering getting my ben 1 (18x1) barrel rethreaded to 1/2x28 and running a 3 lung, and was wondering if there would be any reason why I couldnt run a 3 lug on my 10/22 as well whenever I do this as changing the mounting system (direct thread, piston, 3 lug) can be a pain at times.

I am currently running a adapter on the evo and going direct thread, just trying to make swapping host easier.

I dont see any reason why not. I run 3 lug on 9mm and 300blk. I would just check it after a couple hundred rounds to make sure itnwont get carbon/lead locked to the barrel.

Forgot about those guys, But at that price a rethread/cut is $100 cheaper. I plan on keeping my factory handguard though. I like the size. The K cut is too small for me. Even though its bad ass. Ill probably pick up another one at some point and have both.

I can't think of any issues with 22lr and 3 lug. I would probably just pop it off every few hundred rounds to keep any carbon locking from happening.
