Anyone tried a Springfield Range Officer Elite ?

Been reading up and these and considering getting one. Does anyone have one or tried one?
I like the specs on the Champion 45 ACP.

Springfield 1911's are all pretty much the same. Of course the shorter barrel pistols will handle a bit differently. They make damn fine 1911's. They have very smooth triggers and most of the different models are just mainly upgrades. Like sights, serations, grips and little things like that. I had a 1911 A1 Loaded and it was the best 1911 I have ever owned I have two now that cost over 1,000 bucks. Don't be at all worried about buying a Springfield 1911. If you like the way it feels and handles you will like the way it shoots.

That's one of the guns that are on my replace because I sold list. I could kick myself in the balls for selling it. That's how much I loved that gun.

Thanks for the replies. I also have owned lots of 1911’s including a ton of Springfield’s. I just curious about the RO Elite

I really liked my RO and regret selling it. I have done a lot reading on these and like what I have read. I hope to have one soon.
