Anyone Tried This?????

Thanks for posting the reviews, offbeat!
But if anyone is still interested in one of these, I have magnets you can put on your fuel lines to get 150 mpg in you Ford Fairlane!

I am doin roof for a guy in Atlanta that is going solar after the install. His cost for total solar (per his estimate) is $5000 and he will get a $4800 tax credit. So... Its do-able

sorry I do not know who is doing the solar job but it is a contractor

just HOW solar do you have to go to get a tax credit? How many kwh? Heck, i can totally build a solar power grid if it's gonna get me a 4800 dollar tax credit. Do they give tax credits for solar water heating too? I need a way to heat my jacuzzi :p

I can find tax credits totalling 65% of cost (assuming he gets them all and the programs are out of money for 2013)... perhaps the rest of his "savings" is in savings on his bill for the first year?

I stand corrected, I just found another $450/kW unit installed. So if you installed a 3 kW unit and it cost you $5,000. You could get 65% back in various tax credits plus $1350 ($450 x 3)... For a total of $4,600. Thus making your costs $400. The problem I see, getting this installed for a mere $5,000.
