I have been thinking about putting a red dot on a 45* degree mount on my hog set up.

I have been looking at an Aimpoint, I was wondering if anyone else uses a red dot on the side and which one they like for it.

Currently I'm using an 8x56 scope due to some shots being out to 250 yards with how big some of the fields are.

I have tried a 1-4x scope but found wanting more for the long shots.

Last I tried 3-10 but changed it to keep from dealing with the magnification if they popped out close and to get rid of the exposed turrets, I'm on a 4wheeler some.

RMR type 2 mounted 45 offset to VCOG towards the back of the rail. If it was the T1/T2, may want to move it forward of main optic you keep sight picture open. I’ve been pretty happy with the setup. Transition is pretty fast between the two.
