Just ran across this and saw that Zeke from the "Talking Lead" podcast is the host.
Watched the first episode last night and it's very Top Shot-ish in some ways, but without the drama between contestants.
In fact all the focus was on the builds, with just some background interviews between those shots. I say it remind me of Top Shot simply because the music is exactly the same.
It's a competition to build various historical firearms, blades and archery gear. Only 3 competitors, who get reduced to 2 after the first round.
The main host is Zeke, but the little blond girl is the head historian of the Cody Firearms museum. The steam-punk blacksmith dude is kind of weird, but seems to know his stuff.
Anyway, looks like it's worth watching. I just bought the season on Amazon, but I think you can watch it directly on the Discovery site too.
Good to see some gun-related shows on the air again. It's been a long dry spell.
