Anyone with a 16" bull barrel for 10/22, GITT

What ammo does your barrel like? Shot mine for the first time this weekend with CCI sv and while great at 50yds, it opened up at 100yds. Also saw considerable drop compared to some old federal hollow points I had a large supply of.

Thinking i need a little more velocity in the short barrel...thoughts?

I have 3, each with a different barrel. Kidd, Feddersen, and a Stockys microgroove. Each have their ammo preference. Get some different ammo choices and try them out to see what it likes best. CCI SV, Gemtech, and Aguila match rifle ammo are my go-to's.

What does your Fedderson like most?

It shoots anything I've thrown in it well. Really likes the Aguila match. Best barrel out there IMHO.
