Anywhere to find Pyrodex or FFFG powder locally?

Not an issue on several years supply unless you are shooting a cannon.
Most reloaders are already over thr allowed amount of smokeless powder.

On BP it's not so much the amount but how you store it. The storage requirement is what discourages retailers. If you are storing BP incorrectly, you should heed the advice about no insurance.

We have tight wad skeet shooters who buy powder through the club when it orders targets, and they routinely load their cars with, and take to their homes, an illegal amount of powder and primers.

For any one who wants to research this (I don't care enough to), the info is hard to find because the local ordinances usually regulate it by incorporating by reference a universal fire code - so the exact specifications may not be found locally.

Some reloading manuals have an insert with the transportation and storage requirements.

Bass Pro has BP, (or did, last time I bought some), you have to ask at the counter, and they have you leave when you take possession.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA., used to have a Gun store in their downtown, which only had muzzle loading supplies and guns.

Good luck in your quest of the great FFFG, powder, as others had said BP, is considered an explosive and
some stores require you to sign for it.

These are some you can try, AO, may have it...

OP did specifically ask about pyrodex...

I hate their pellets but have never had any issues in my Thompson 50 cal with the powder style.

+1 about upgraded nipples
