AOL collections

i kept getting calls from a collection agency that works for aol.
i never had an aol account,but they said i owed them 103 dollars but would discount it if i paid.
all they had was an address and phone number.
anyone else have this happen.sounds like someone opened an aol account using my info wtfffffffffffffffffffffffffff

They are required to provide you with a full account of the information they have in writing if you request. Send them a letter. They send you a letter. You send a response disputing their claim. They go away. You may have to follow up with the credit agencies if it shows up on your credit report.
