The Marion Road Gun Club is hosting a 2 day Appleseed rifle clinic on March 18-19. Adults are $60, youth $20, and LEO, active duty military, and elected officials are free.
The shoots run from 8:30am to 5:00pm both days, rain or shine. Estimated round count for the weekend is 350-400 rounds.

Project Appleseed combines the teaching of the events of April 19, 1775 with the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship into a unique and intense weekend. We will shoot from three positions at 25 meters, but with targets scaled to simulate shooting at 100, 200, 300 and 400 yards. Learn the six steps to firing a shot, natural point of aim, steady hold factors, and much more. You will learn the skills needed to be able to make hits on man sized targets at 500 yards with a rack grade rifle and standard ball ammo.

Earn your rifleman patch at an event and test your skills out to 600 yards at the KD clinics we hold at the CMP range in Talledega.

If ammo availability is an issue, we have .22lr available for youth shooters, PM me or @brianf31 for details.

Even if you don't live near Macon, there may be an event in your area. There are shoots held in all 50 states, and even on the island of Manhattan.

I will be glad to answer any questions in the thread or through PM.
