I've made some more and added a few more apples and a quart of water to offset the evaporation as it boils. Usually yields 10qts. It doesn't last long as I tend to drink some every night. Put it in the fridge and it will keep for 6mo.

Try substituting the brown sugar with approx 1.5-2 cups honey. And never ad the everclear until everything has cooled off. Don't want the alcohol to cook off.
I made a similar recipe to this a couple years back, put the alcohol in when it was still warm, drank almost a pint jar sitting around the camp fire...thought I put the alcohol in too soon cause I didn't feel drunk at all, then I stood up....

Making some this weekend. Will update on how it turns out.
Staring some today. Don't have anything that will hold two gallons so I'm having to modify the recipie a little.
