I just bought an AR-10 .308 (Armalite). It has the 20" barrel with 11.5" standard handgrips, its a flat top, with a rail for the detachable front site as well.

I would like to put on some new grips with the ability to but a bi-pod on it (with the option to mount other things such as laser or light) and mount a high-powered scope on the flat top. Basically turn it into a sniper rifle.

What kinda grips should I get to accommodate that?
What kinda bi-pod? (I would like the option to be able to fold them up, and vary the length.
And any ideas on scope/mount?

I have 2 AR-15s as well but this is my first attempt at customizing any of my guns. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Goto armalite.com or 7.62sass.com they have the handguards or quad rails you are looking for. Check out Larue tactical for quick detachable scope and accessory mounts, harris for bipods.

The only downside I've found with my ar-10's is it's way to easy to shoot up several hundred dollars worth of ammo in an afternoon.

Good lord man! That's one good looking rifle!

I pick up a Alexander Arms 50 Beouwulf next week and have already been ordering stuff for it! This is a never ending cycle!
