AR-15 Hydraulic Recoil buffers?

As well as a muzzle brake. Look at an adjustable gas block. When you look at the recoil cycle, cutting down the amount of gas throwing everything backwards is an important step in keeping your front sight on target.

An unregulated gas block throws everything backwards and everything works. But just how much gas do you actually need to just barely cycle the bolt? Plus a hair more to make sure it stays locked open on the last round.

Without the buffer slamming the spring fully compressed and all those additional forces working against your shoulder. Its a whole lot easier to keep the business end where you like it.
Much sense it makes master Yoda.

My shoulder and back are all tore up so I been studying hard on reducing recoil. Here’s my current recoil reduction set up on my 9” Blackout pistol -

* Sig brace on a Kak Super sig tube kit w the kit spring and buffer

* Adjustable gas block dialed down

* Kinectech zero recoil shielded muzzle brake, custom ported at 1:00 and 11:00 or so.

It really don’t kick or rise much at all, even when I’m shooting one handed with my bad shoulder. Before i made these changes the kick and rise was bout double a 223.

And all the blast still goes downrange

I believe I’m done.

If anyone can show me a softer shootin blackout pistol with a 9” or longer barrel up at AO I’ll by em a trip to the range.

I use JP Capture springs and BCM Mod 0 or Mod 1 breaks. The Lantac is great if you don't care that everyone around you wants to punch you in the face.

Recently picked up the Armaspec Capture spring for $60 less than the JP. Works just as well but is somewhat heavier of a buffer.

Works well for me, best of luck.

I like the VLTOR A5 Buffer system and BCM comp. Uses a little longer Buffer tube with a Rifle spring and the VLTOR 5.3 buffer. The Marines are going with this so the Rifle length buffer will allow the stock to be adjustable in order to have a rifle length adjustable stock for the A2. Very nice shooting. Hard to find the A5 right now everyone is out of stock. Lots of good comments on the internet.

I just got back from trying out the Lantac Dragon. Wow, what an improvement over a birdcage flash hider. Thank you all for the recommendations!

Yeah, I don't think the guy next to me was quite as enthusiastic about it as I was...
