Built this pistol 3 weeks ago. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Just added a magpul bad lever, it's not pictured.

How's that setup treating you? I've got a southpaw buddy looking at his first AR build....he's not terribly keen on catching brass with his face though.

Love it... It's a POF lower with a Stag upper and a Colt barrel cut to 14.5 and the flash suppressor is pinned.. I just wish I had more options as far as BCG's go.. Hard to find left handed options, I would love to have a nickel boron or other fancy type BCG and use my stock stag BCG as a backup.

I was curious too... I'm a lefty too, but honestly I have never caught a piece of brass with my face with my standard AR... I'm more interested in not inhaling so much gas.

well since you have both and I assume you are a lefty, is there any additional comfort or benefit with the stag upper?

Yes I'm a Lefty, I guess the biggest advantage is shooting with optics, but really not a big difference. I grew up shooting right handed rifles so I've made up my own style of adjustment, it comes natural. Oh, one thing is when shooting at indoor ranges brass tends to bounce off walls in confined areas, on advantage I've noticed.
