AR-15 porn (LETS SEE EM GUYS)

Four of my favorites. The top ones are a Colt CRE 18 pro with a Vortex pst 1-4. The one under that is a Core 15 M4 piston gun, I love that gun, it's tight and a smooth shooter. Core makes good guns. The ones on the bottom are my home build 6.8's. The have all the right parts ( Bravo co., Daniel Defense, Wilson combat, ARP ) Like I said all the good stuff and carefully fitted for a tight non wiggle fit.The very bottom gun was my first billet gun. It turned out beautifully.[/ATTACH]

I can't believe this thread is going 3 years later. That's awesome. I wish I had a pic of my sons AR 15. He turned 18 in January 2015 and we put it together over the last year and a half. He just got the money to buy the upper last week (thanks to the super PSA Memorial Day sale) and now he is the owner of his very own AR15. You should have seen the smile on his face.

Return to zero? I've been looking at it for a T1 I have that needs a mount. But sport optics has the Bobro for $95. Kinda hard to pass up the Bobro at that price, unless lightweight is a priority.
In your situation I'd probably go with the Bobro. I haven't tested return to zero and don't really have a reason to. Honestly, I kinda bought the mount out of CDI factor than any real need. I had a perfectly good ADM QD mount. Still, it makes me happy when I look at it, so I guess it works.

Roger that. The scalarworks mount is dead sexy and looks great. And I like the innovative, low profile design of the locking mechanism. But it's also one of the most expensive mounts on the market right now. (it's also the lightest) The only one I can think of that's more expensive is the GDI, which is impossible to find, built like a tank and almost $200. Sport Optics has the best price I've seen anywhere on the Bobro T1 mount, as it's usually $120-130. At that price ($95), I couldn't pass it up. Hence, it's arrival on my doorstep yesterday. I've become a big fan of the Bobro mounts over the last couple of years and and running three of them now. Simple operation, well designed, great RTZ and no marring like the Larue. I also like the ADM mounts alot, but at similar price points, I will pay an extra $10-20 for the Bobros.

Also, one more kudos to Sport Optics. They had my mount on my doorstep in two days. If anyone is looking for an optic or mount, I would highly recommend them. Just be aware, website inventory is not live. I found them to be extremely responsive and helpful on the phone, for both the mount purchase and a new T1. Good service, good prices and very fast shipping.
