dropped by this morning and it's still sitting there in the display case

I know of several stores that have ARs in stock but they're not name brands. If it was a Sig,a colt or a bushmaster, it'd be gone. Plus I think there's a lot of customer fatigue over it in general. I except for one have had to overpay and buy online but it beat going on the ammo runs ever so often. I don't know how those check drawers do all of that running around and waiting in line every day. I'm glad it's dying down...for the moment.
I ask again. Pre 2004 who made a better AR?The best AR money could buy...good bang for buck but best? I'd have to disagree but appreciate the sentiment
u overpaid for an ar or for ammo?
Yeah I "overpaid" monetarily for 1 but it evened out somewhat compared to time wasted and gas spent. Value is relative.
u didn't answer my question. i was confused when u said u over paid, but didn't know if it was for ammo or ar
The wal-mart in thomaston had a colt m4 on the shelf for 1399.00 and a Beretta cx4 storm
What does it matter? You're missing the point. Overpaying is relative. Getting something for a supposed better price is all well and good if you don't expend gas and time and money for something that's definitely not guaranteed. Quite simply: a bird in the hand...
