They are like potato chips.. you cant have just one. My black rifle addiction is up to 12 rifles and 2 pistols....

Go built first, and then your next dozen or so build them. Oh.. and dont get me started on cerakote.....

I would never advise a first time AR owner to build his or her own.
Buy a quality factory carbine or rifle, a case of quality ammo, and take a class from a reputable instructor.
Then you know what works for you & what doesn't and you won't throw money away building something just because it worked for someone else.
But what do I know, I'm just a worn-out old truck driver with Internet access.
