AR is double tapping all the sudden

My 300 blackout started to double fire this week. I replaced the trigger spring and it did it again. All hardware looks fine and doesn’t show signs of odd wear. Tonight I took apart the BCG completely and cleaned all carbon and lubed all parts, still did it. Gun is currently separated and dismantled until I get it safe to use.

Would like some direction on what’s going on. Thanks.

My burned out m16a2 would do this back in my basic training days. It would double up if I slowly let out the trigger after firing.

The Geissele SSA is my favorite trigger for ”real world” use. I use it in all of my general purpose carbines.
