Thanks, but no thanks. With the AR market were it is, I rather spend money on quality vs a 23rd truck gun that cost under $300.

I probably will pick up a few as parts and pieces, even AR Stoner are worth that amount. What's the concern over the gas block that I am missing? One report says they used loctite for gas block screws but that shouldn't present a problem. I also have a few spare Sig SWAT 12 inch rails with cutouts that would fit the stock but not sure how a visible gas block would look.

Update: Only 217 remaining!!

Set screw gas should use 272 Loctite for 1) securing the screws 2) withstanding the heat of that portion of the upper.

Proper procedure for set screw gas blocks:

Dimple under gas port for rear set screw
Knurled tipped set screw
Red 272 Loctite applied
Fasteners torqued to a firm snug tightening the rear set screw first as to allow the gas block to align and center from the Barrel dimple. Tighten forward( muzzle end) set screw last.

I think this is the one that I got 2 of. They come with a zip tie on the BCG if I remember correctly.
