Are y’all runnin the factory stock on yer sub2000s? I see this one upgrade recoil pad on Amazon but I don’t know if there are others out there that are softer.

I put a pad on the stock for the cheek weld but nothing on the end of the shoulder.

Well I traded into a g17 and slapped a cheap reflex sight on it. It is light as a feather and I believe it’s gonna give a sweet sight picture now, peeking at the red dot over top of the factory sights, which are just too low and tight fer me. This will be a nice easy setup for a new shooter IMO. Thanks for all the helpful advice.

The 17 is a good call, unless you have plenty of 19 mags I wouldnt want a shorter grip. Keep an eye on the castle nut. They will sometimes loosen. They are on by friction fit, one of those buffer tube pads keep them in place. Have fun

I just don't get why Glock or Smith hasn't produced they're own carbines using they're own mags. Beretta did it with the CX4 but charged too much and their PX4 pistol wasn't nearly as popular as Glocks and M&Ps. I know I'd be in line.

I'd like to see someone produce one in 45 using 1911 mags as well.
