I have a suppressor on my Sig 716 with a Nikon M308 scope. Great setup. The 716 has the adjustable gas block and is piston driven.

My only concern with the sig is the ftf fte issues that existed on the Gen I rifles. I can't stomach the thought of paying 1600+ for a rifle that has that problem

That's around $5k, but you gotta include $200 tax stamp, a scope mount, and other ancillary equipment.
