AR15 Barrell Length

Does it financially make Sense to Build a Rifle or Should I just save up and buy an already put together rifle? Right now Priced out at 800$ to build without tax with everything scope and all?

Well most of my shots will be within 200 yards so I think this Platform is good.

You're going to get tons of responses from get a 10-12 inch barrel because of maneuverability to go 14.5 pin and welded for minimum legal length to 16 inch so you can change muzzle devices without welding and still be as short as legally possible without a stamp to go 18 or 20 for accuracy and ballistic advantage.

Get whatever you want, at 200 yards a 10.5 is fine. No one on here is killing people....only paper and steel. If you're hunting get at least 14.5 in 556 otherwise if it is for paper and steel just get whatever makes you smile.

If it were me I'd just buy a complete Daniel defense or bcm for 1200ish but it all depends on your preference, budget, etc
