AR15 help

[Gun Runner]

i have put a dozen ARs together so not my first rodeo. Just put my first 300 blackout together. The BCG gets stuck in the closed position after the gun is dry fired. Everything cycles fine until it is dry fired. To get the bcg back I have to bump the butt of the gun on the ground. I have it apart and know the bcg is the reason it won't come back. Any suggestions?

Maybe the gas rings? Is the bolt inside th carrier group getting hung up, or does it move freely?

Have you tried a spare BCG yet?

You're welcome to come on by my home shop and I'll take a look at it. I've got plenty of spare BCG's and parts.

Wild card here. Are you dry firing it without a firing pin in it?
