Before I go out and buy a Cricut or some other stencil machine for around $200. Does anyone know a source to get a stencil for an AR15 safety mark?
What I am thinking is to electro etch the safety icon I want. I know it would be much better if I brought the lower to a machine shop, but I don't know any local places that would. Plus, I like DIY. :)
The attached pictures are what I am referring to.

Yes, I mean the etching itself, not the colors. I've already done an 80%, and what a pain in the butt. I used a P-Touch and an exacto knife, then etched it out. Looks ok, not showroom quality, but works fine. I figured fill the etching with paint, and it wouldn't look as bad.

I could always just buy a new lower with all engravings already done, but what's the fun in that.
Plus, if I did buy one, then I'd have another lower, and I would have to build another AR. :)

Attached is my first etching, with a PTouch and exacto knife.
