Went to test fire my new build a few minutes ago and out of about 15 rds 13 had light primer strikes. Its a kaw precision 9mm bcg and standard cheapo trigger group. Is there a special trigger i need?

I would start with changing ammo personally
Check that your trigger spring is on correctly. I've never had light strikes with mine and it has the 3.5 JP springs in it.
Id thought about that also. Only 147 gr i had and not super cheap so figured it was good to go. But that might be it. Anyone have any experience with this ammo?

Pics of hammer and springs? 9mm and triggers is a science. Many triggers wont reset with 9mm bolts either. I tried many to get mine to work. Settled on on of those unbranded pof blue triggers, works great now.
I should have said Hammer spring. With a cheap trigger group, they normally put stout springs in them.
