Are any braces legal under the new edict.

Before anyone gets too excited, I looked and couldn't find, I'm not advocating surrender, I just am genuinely curious. If this is covered elsewhere please direct me there. My reason for this question was I tried using the gununiversity.com calculator and my theoretical firearms all failed. I would greatly appreciate any and all coherent and intelligent responses.

Did I mention I started the weekend early, as for myself I own construction tools whose purpose is to rapidly drill repeated 3/16 inch pilot holes.

All previous ATF classifications involving stabilizing brace attachments for firearms are superseded by the Jan 31st ruling and are no longer valid. So basically, no, there isn't a specific brace that is currently legal to use across the board. The only way to find out if a configuration you have in mind is legal would be to submit it to the ATF (good luck with that). In general, if a brace makes it at all possible to shoulder the firearm, then it wouldn't likely be considered legal.
