Since a health app is asking for gender, I presume it's to calculate some health factor (like my watch does, to calculate calories burned from elapsed time, heart rate, gender, age, weight, etc.).
But what the ### is it going to do with 'Other'?
It's also being VERY un-PC. "I don't want to be labeled 'Other'!" Sounds like an evil Republican company trying to insult people. Lawsuit waiting to happen.
