Armadillos Attacking my Yard?

I have a bunch of holes in my yard from these pesky armadillos.

Does anyone have any advice on how to drive them off?

And no; I don't want to shoot them with a firearm.

Looking for something a bit less drastic than that....

Buy insecticide to kill grubs. That's what they're digging for.

If you put down grub control pellets and mole repellent castor oil pellets and they’ll prolly go next door.

a pitch fork works if you don't want to shoot ,hang on though ,they will jump like crazy.

Kill the grubs , insects in ground as was mentioned
No food no armadillo issue

I guess I should have also mentioned I have pets that live in the yard and we are on a well.
Don't really want to put poison down that could hurt the dog or theoretically get into our water supply.

If they will just go on down the road a bit I'll be happy...

Will this work on armadillos or just moles?
not sure how the armadillo would get underneath it.
They are the size of a small dog....
