Armistead Armory in Alpharetta?

I bought a pistol from them and a lot of ammo. (pre-panic). Nice people, it's a business, not family. I believe they fired their original manager, (the guy in the silly commercials) I heard he was from Sharp Shooters. I liked dealing with him much more than the current guy.

I wouldn't expect much inventory. They are a new, small shop and I wouldn't expect them to have much pull with the manufactures. And their ammo prices are panic priced. I bought a box of 9mmPlusP - Golden Saber. The box said $29, they tried to charge me $39 - they missed marking it up on the box. I paid $29.

I have met a couple of the family members and I have nothing but praise for them.

I've been in there many times... They even keep on the lookout for specific ammo I like. It's where I picked up my commander style 1911. They have ordered parts for me cheaper than I could get on the Internet.... Good people.

I stop in there on a regular basis. They are a little high on some stuff, but they are nice and keep a pretty good selection, given the circumstances we are in.

Okay, the wife and I dropped by today to see what was happening... decent sized store, lots of extra room... not a lot of ammo in stock but a decent amount of long guns and pistols. An AK on the wall and several SKSes. The prices on the guns I looked at was decent, 10/22 for 269, Circuit Judge for 599, etc. Certainly not cheap but not crazy. The young lady we talked to was very nice and everyone that came into the store was greeted (which is a nice change of pace from some gun stores). Frog Lube in stock, if you are looking for it, lots of shotties.

great people in there, one of the gentlemen went to GA southern we had a nice long chat about that. Fair prices, i will say some of the consigment buys were absolutley outrageous

They had some growing pains in the beginning but getting a little smoother. I have bought ammo and a couple of accessories but not a firearm.....yet.
