Army Should Have Gone With Glock....

I mentioned nothing of price but rather widespread acceptance and use in professional settings

It is clear you are biased against XD’s.. You even put out a post with some bogus research of failures or stoppages on the gun. I do not own a springfield but my oldest son has 2 XDM or S 3.3’s, Hell I don’t know. He has shot a couple thousand round through both. Never had a stoppage, FTE, or FTF.. we break our pistols down after shooting on our land. Very religious, about cleaning and lubricating.

That is not his EDC. He now uses a Kimber Micro 9 Crimson Trace..
It runs like butter..

I've shot countless thousands of rounds through a couple of XD's and they always worked flawlessly. I think they are great guns. Crazy accurate too, at least for me.

Not biased, I used to own one. They’re simply not up to snuff compared to other polymer guns. And I don’t trust anyone who claims a Kimber runs correcty. Sound like a fudd to me.

Well you are an esteemed expert. Who obviously doesn’t doesn’t own a Kimber micro 9...

Which if you read.. Is not my EDC, but my son’s.. Which I’ll bet you have never held one let alone shot...

no, no expert. but experienced and researched enough to know anything Kimber sells will Jam, and besides putting out an inferior product, Springfield sold us gun owners down the river. None of this is personal to the owners of said firearms, merely trying to expose quality over good advertisement, which *coughs* some people have fallen for.

Taurus sell junk as well. As far as Kimbers go, there are literally hundreds of threads filled with jokes of how unreliable those guns are. Every one I’ve ever shot has had feeding issues.

So you never owned one... You seem to mention your experience and research, and then quote as evidence “ hundreds of threads”..

It’s really hard to take anything you say as serious..

You aren't going to convince anyone that the Kimber brand is an inherently reliable manufacturer
