It seems the prevailing wisdom these days is the AR market is saturated (agreed), and that ARs are cheap now (somewhat disagree). While I agree that you can get some $400-ish ARs now, most of the mid to upper-tier ARs are still the same price. Colt 6920s are still around $700 for the OEM models and Daniel Defense prices are still the same.
I guess my point is it's only the lower end models that seem to be cheap. In no way am I saying that the lower end models are bad, it's just that the idea that ARs are cheap only seems to apply to the lower-end models.
I'm not picking up 6920s for $400 and DDs for $800, so where are the "cheap ones"?
