Yes absolutely senseless violence women and children slaughtered. Basically tighten up the border , build a wall what ever needs to be done. A good commercial trade partner but human, drug and other trafficking is fueling the cartels.

I travel there (Mexico) several times a year on business but not to the border.

The drug war has never been able to stop the flow of drugs and money. Legalize them so they can be standardized and the cartels would no longer fight each other. If one cartel stole their drugs they could call the police instead of handling it themselves.
