Being a Mason is literally about tying in with your community. It's not like it was 100 + years ago though certain traditions remain. You really only relate if your family or close friends are in. If you only go by what you read on the Internet then you are more likely to be misled. It's pretty much like a lot of the 100% positive members on the ODT. Fellas you can trust and willing to help their community. I lol at the people that dismiss it as foolish. But we can be silly. Especially at charities.
