Asking for a friend.... Red Flags

A close friend of mine was wondering how many individual firearms or stripped lowers or pea shooters would red flag you to the powers that be. At what point are you over that dreaded "arsenal" level the media is always talking about? I'll pass on any comments to this friend.

Personally I am not worried as I lost the few guns I had in a recent mud puddle in my back yard. Also, I only have a half brick of 22LR for an ammo stash.
