I figured with the drum in MAGA's face all viral now I'd ask our esteemed congregation of their heritage, I'll start it and get impaled no doubt.
1/4 Cherokee. 1/4 Confederate heritage, remaining all English speaking American.

My family tradition on my dad's side said we had a percentage Cherokee. Supposedly his mom, my grandmom was 1/4. But when I had my DNA research done it shows up less than 1%. LOL So I guess not.

My great gramaw is full blooded cherokee. I grew up just south of cherokee nc

My great great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee in Oklahoma.

Other than that I'm a mutt... Russian, Polish, German, Hungarian, Irish... my ancestors got around.

Well I don't have to track it back far at all, I am half Athabascan Alaskan Native. My mother is full blooded and I was born in Delta Junction, Alaska. Life time member of the Tanana Chiefs out of Tok, Alaska. My father was a coal miners son out of West Virginia with a mixed heritage, and met my mother in Alaska when he was in the Military. Long story, by me a beer and I will tell it.

Family tradition was my maternal grandfather was part Cherokee. I had DNA research done as well, no trace of native American found. Guess you just can't trust family stories, DNA does not lie.
