ATF Tries to Prosecute an AR Pistol as illegal SBR!!

Here we go guys... Pretty damn alarming the way the state and ATF went about it, even trying to get the ATF's own letters exlcuded. But at least we now have a legal precedent....

Luckily there was a happy ending to the saga, with the jury returning a not guilty verdict after a short deliberation.

...ATF Firearms Enforcement Officer Eve E. Eisenbise as an expert witness for the government...

Next assignment for Officer Eisenbise will be employee re-education and reviewing government policy.

EDIT: Having a foregrip on an AR pistol less than I-forget-how-many-inches-exactly makes it an AOW, which they could have definitely prosecuted him for.

Cannot have a vertical fore grip, from my recollection.

Yes, they can as long as they are 26.3 inches or greater for a vertical grip. There is no length requirement for an angled grip.
