Few years later you are being arrested for a shotgun that is one inch too short or wading through hellish beauracracy spending your life savings against ruin because the gov cant decide what constitutes a pistol vs a rifle and how arbitrarily long each should be. Or whether having a place for your support hand breaks some imaginary level of danger to the public. Its things like this that show we cant give gov an inch on the second amendment because they cant be trusted to adhere to their own self imposed limits with reason and sound judgement.
