****Atlanta Falcons**** And The NFL In General

The Falcons sold out.

They have a great team, offensive and defensive, but when you are winning a game by 25 points, why does the coaching staff change the way the team is playing?

Defense goes from a five man rushing and pounding Ryan, to a three man rushing, and God forbid that they so much as touch Ryan.
To make it worse the defensive backs would back off the receivers as soon as Ryan tuned loose of the ball.

NFL is almost as real as wrestling.

Should this post say Brady instead of Ryan?

Why do the falcons never have any money to spend in free agency. Hell the jags have spent a ton of money the last 2 year's.

Most of the time it deals with the QBs contract.

Matts cap number is 23.5 million.
Bortles is 6.5 million.

We have 90 million in our offense.
And we have 55 million in our defense.

None of our moves will be big headlines but hopefully they make the right smaller moves to get better.
No one is better at this than the pats.

i would have let toilolo go. good blocker but no hands. would have at least made bab's an offer.
We are gonna need toilolo even more now that we let demarco go.im glad we let bab's go he didn't have much production the past couple of years. Maybe a play here and there. Also toilolo has been a better catcher.

Anybody have any clue how this jack crawford dude plays. Good player or will he be another tyson Jackson

Former Cowboys defensive end Jack Crawford will sign a three-year deal with the Falcons, his agents wrote on Twitter Thursday.

Crawford, 28, started 11 games and played in all 16 for the Cowboys last season. A fifth-round pick of the Raiders in 2012, Crawford became a full-time contributor over the last two seasons with the Cowboys.

The Falcons cut defensive end Tyson Jackson earlier Thursday.

Crawford has 9.5 career sacks, all in the last three seasons. He only played in 25 total games over his first three seasons with the Raiders and didn’t make his first career start until 2015, when he had a career-best four sacks in Dallas.

Rex Burkhead visits the Falcons

The running back market hasn’t heated up in free agency, but at least one back has made a visit.

Former Bengals running back Rex Burkhead was in Atlanta for a visit with the Falcons, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

If Burkhead were to sign with the Falcons, he’d join a crowded backfield that already has Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Burkhead might take over some of the responsibilities of the departed fullback Patrick DiMarco, although Burkhead is more of a runner and less of a blocker than DiMarco.

Last year Burkhead had 74 carries for 344 yards and two touchdowns, plus 17 catches for 145 yards.
