Saw an interesting stat. With trading Julio the Falcons now have $21M in dead money against the cap in 13 players who are no longer on the team.

I’m not a huge Matt Ryan guy. Personally I think he’s basically Phillip Rivers. But, fact remains the Falcons haven’t been in position to pick a better QB since they took Ryan. Falcons had a bit of success under his rookie deal. So resigning him was a no brainer. Then having that money tied up in a Ryan makes it financially infeasible that you move on from him. Just how NFL business works.

Philip rivers is underrated, never really had a great offense to work with
