Atlanta (Fulton this time) GUN BUY BACK!!! TOMORROW!

Well the last one the organizers said they would not do another one. Negative press and publicized individual citizens buying the firearms before the city could buy them for public safety drew negative criticism from their supporters.

So tomorrow in Fulton county at Atlanta Civic Center, 9am until 1 pm or the money runs out.

Stopping Atlanta Violence Effectively, also known as S.A.V.E. is organizing and promoting the event.

They are paying $50 for working handguns and $100 for working long guns. They will check the weapons for functionality, and they will not buy BB or pellet guns.

So if you have junk and want $100 for a POS rifle or shotgun and willing to stand in line on a work day for most or just want to hunt for a gem before the city buys it then have at it.

The previous buy backs have been covered here before. Stolen guns account for approximately less than 1-3% of the guns. Some really nice guns were saved from being destroyed.

EDIT: wrong numbers for stolen guns.
