This is something that works really well and is lots of fun on facebook commerce groups.

An auction is set up with end time/date and minimum bid increments. $0 reserve. Members bid on the item and whoever wins MUST purchase the item. Backing out on a deal leads to a ban from ODT.

Auctions can be promoted by mods for a fee.

What does everyone think?

*edit* requirement of 10 positive feedback to participate

good point. maybe a requirement of having 10+ positive feedback to participate?
I'm sure it could be designed in a way to lower the possibility of cheaters BUT that would require the mods to police it so unless it was an extra cost (profit for the site) it most likely wouldn't happen.

I do like the idea though, if it was done the right way and worked like it should.

Maybe $5 an auction.
