I’ve never installed a amp before and I’m curious about one thing. So I ordered a small “compact” amp for my boat to power four 6.5” speakers. Nothing special just want better sound and little louder. My question is how do I hook this up?? Its pre wired and has a “HI INPUT” and “SPEAKER OUTPUT” both with colored speaker wires coming out, the HI INPUT just has speaker wires, the SPEAKER OUTPUT has the same wires but with a pigtail connection and a blue remote on/off wire. My thinking would be the side with the pigtail connection which is the “SPEAKER OUTPUT” side goes to the back of the receiver and the “HI INPUT” side wires straight to the speaker wires from the speakers. Then again I could be completely wrong because I’ve never done this. The manual isn’t much help.

Purple to purple one has black strip connect to other black strip
Green to green same also has one with black strip
Grey to grey
And white to white same with black strip

red is power
And blue is amp to radio blue amp wire
Black is ground make sure ground that amp to a good ground

High Input vs. Low Input depend on what type head unit you have. If you have a stereo with a built in amp (most do these days) you want to pipe that signal in to the "high input" side. Some stereos may also have outputs that are pre-amplifier......if you have that type use the "low input" side.

Output side is straight forward, just wire in your speakers, FR, FL, RR, RL

I know all that. I’m just trying to figure out the two sets of speaker wires.

Hi Input: Use these ONLY if your radio does not have RCA outputs.
Low Input: Is the RCA input from your radio. (round stereo plugs)

Speaker Output: This is where the power comes out of your amp. Connects to your speakers.

Blue: Power turn-on from your radio.

That’s what I was looking for!! Thank you!
