Isn't it closer for you? $20 bones the last time I did a transfer there and $40 bones for transfer of suppressor/full auto stuff etc.-Speak to Jeremy for tax stamp stuff. The bait and switch was probably an employee who just forgot to mention transfer fees are stacked and used to deter anyone who wants to actually transfer through them.
The law requires FFL's to maintain the documents indefinitely. If they are already generating and filing the forms then what's one more form that takes all of 3 minutes to complete with a CCW? So, if you didn't have a CCW and I know you do, then would the charge be $50 + $5 background check? Placing such a high tariff on an essential service like this sounds like, well something the government would do to us not our FFL's. Shame the hell on them. I will join your boycott of Autreys. This will not allow their business to thrive in these troubled economic times. Getting more people through their doors will!

I was going to use autreys cause I planned on buying the rock river parts kit and a few other items once it comes in. Like I said I bought tons of stuff from them so I was just looking out for them by throwing more money to them. Insted they wanna try and rob me. Well they missed out on the parts kit I was going to buy, the stock kit and a few other things. Ill let a nice place like eds or someone else get my money.Eds is awesome but I like to spred my money around to other places too. Kinda share the wealth. Well, the long list of gun shops I give money to just went down one.

I dont mind paying that on class 3 items. Cans are high dollar items. This is a stupid piece of metal. Thats it. They are just trying to get over. Im not cool with that. Those also require more time and paperwork. Thus for you are paying for more of their time. It takes 3 min... 3 min to do a standard transfer.

"Rob and Extort" people? I have heard it all now. Yall need to get a clue as to what it takes to have a real gun store, not a basement FFL. One LARGE expense that has not been mentioned is the liability insurance. If it goes through your books, you now take the liability, plain and simple. Anyone want to guess how much it costs to get tangled up with ATF after a person like Jared Laughner or the DC snipers tansfer a gun through you?

Well I guess all those other stores that charge reasonable amounts like 25-30 dont have AC in their shops. Please. Tons of other shops dont charge half what they do. If you wanna go there and over pay then have a ball. You can over pay if you want. Im not going to. Explain that one to me... Huh? Do those other shops still not make profit without ripping people off?
What about other places that do it for free? Do they not pay the same insurance??? Now ive heard it all. Being ok and making excuses for other people that extort others is the main reason it goes on and on. In the long run they lose more money... cause once they get a gun transfered almost always the person will buy something in the store to go with it. There goes your clue.
The way I see if if your shop DEPENDS on 50 dollar transfers... then you should just shut the doors today. Cause you aint going to make it.

Amen brother!! i'm betting NONE of the people who are *****ing about what autrey's charges ha$1ve ever worked a business with a brick and mortar location and employed more than themselves....autrey's is evil, there time is worth nothing, their facility is worth nothing and anyway they got it all for free...and we all know it costs nothing to have $1million or so in stock
