Lmao! I don't mean to laugh but that's pretty funny!

It's all good. My wife and I laughed our arses off as well when it happened.

The problem was at the time, any audible and visual disturbance in a small "river" (15 feet wide at most) is going to spook Stripers seeking a cool water refuge in the summer. This bird was f'ing up the game

But is was most of the most unusual fights I've had from any critter on spinning rod and reel. It was like fighting a cross between a fish and a kite.

Friggin' awesome. I like the black and white photo as well. Nice touch.

It's been many years since I've been there, but holds a special place for me since the first I saw the Grand Tetons when I was it as a little kid and later as a young adult. The background if Shane, one of one of my favorite old western movies,

It's beautiful out there.

Here are a few pics I grabbed on the way in/out of Jackson Hole a few years ago for you to enjoy! Typically, we approach from the northeast and land to the south….also depart to the southeast…

Sorry about the bug smashes on the windshield…. it was summertime and we had just come from Aspen….
