back pain thread part 2

My guess is you've just been able to stretch and relax muscles that were causing pain.
thats what the doctor said

he told me "walk on your toes, walk on your heels. see you can do that? if it was actually bad you couldn't do any of that"

I am now really concerned to be honest, if what I experienced was like a 2 out of 10 on the pain scale I can only imagine what an actual slip disc or bulge is like :(

I have 3 bulging, bone spurs, and sciatica on both sides. It is not fun. Keep your core strong and protect your spine.

What if my pain is bad enough that I can’t sit Indian style like that to start the yoga??
damn, well I hope it gets better thats for sure

I'm only 30 but this is one of the few times I've ever had my life hemmed up from an illness or injury and I hated it.

I’m a believer. 20 years ago I had a low speed malfunction in a parachute. If I had enough experience, I may could have saved it, but I hit the ground hard enough to result in two simple fractures and 3 compression in my lower back. A few weeks in Sheppard and lots in bed, I recovered, but not without long term damage.

A few years back I was doing some voulunteer work in the village and aggravated it again. Back to Piedmont where I got a Demerol injection with a Valium sidecar. It didn’t touch the pain. Two epidural steroid treatments helped a little, but patience and physical therapy from a little Indian girl who had the strength of a Swiss, had me pain free.

Now, I stretch and do simple core strength excecises every night. Haven’t had a pill in years...
