I'm seeking advice on a new backpack . I currently have a Alice pack , but it's older and want something more modern and framless but sturdy,. I'm looking at the oallet kitchen sink but have heard bad things about the straps and it being cumbersome . Dors anyone have good advice one this?

All backpacks must be clear or mesh now...it’s been proven to save children so it’s a must. Yes I am seriously serious and I was forced buy 2 this year.
Do you have an REI near you? If you do join the co-op, I think it’s like 25 bucks. Wait on the members only scratch and dent sale and pick one up there. I bought an REI brand pack from there for like 30 bucks and have been very happy with it.

I EDC a North Face Recon, it's not huge and it doesn't scream Tacticool. It has a fairly rigid back, with good venting.
