Ran across a great find today, this 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War. It is a literal barn find (found in a barn in NC)..a Bulgarian contract Steyr M95 rifle made in 1903. So a probable veteran of the Balkan Wars of 1912-13, then first and second world wars. I would assume this is a WW2 bring back, as it is marked 'S', meaning rechambering to 8x56r. I'm posting pics of it 'as found' as it is currently apart and soaking in cleaner. Actually had to shoot a bit of oil on the bayo to get it off, not to mention running a rod through the bore to get out the mess the dirt daubers left.
Really happy with this find!

I love these kind of finds.

Stuff like this are the rare occasions that I restore things to original condition, without taking artistic liberties or adding any of my personal flair.
