My bass amp poo-pooed the bed a little while ago. It's a gallien Krueger mb115 gen1. 200w. I've done the normal internet research, and it seems that the power control board has went out. It appears to be a fairly common issue with this amp. The problem is that I have no idea how to check if it's actually the power control board or not. I could just buy a new PCB, but I would hate to waste 90 bucks.
The amp is giving me the Red Ring of Death Around the power button. I'm going to post a picture of the PCB, and I'm wondering if anybody could tell me how to test it and see if it's dead. I am electronically illiterate. The PCB board is the one in the lower left. Thank you !
