Came here to say this. I've done about 10 deals at a Bass Pro parking lot.

i actually went in Bass Pro the other day, needed to pee, first time in probably 6 years.

I was surprised by the ammo selection or more precisely, the lack thereof. Of the ammo they have, about 25-30% was sold out.

I was looking for some .257 Roberts. Granted it's not the most common round, but it's been around a long time. Absolutely none, while the two local gun stores have a least one load. Prices on common ammo was high retail. Didn't price guns.

Middle of the week, they were busy, so maybe they know what they are doing.

Since Dicks stopped sailing guns the Elmers have to buy somewhere. Might as well be Bass Pro.
