Husqvarna makes the best battery saw hands down, but it won’t be cheap. We use the T540i xp daily in tree and the 540i xp on the ground near the chipper. These are pro saws with a ton of torque, either one will set you back $1k, but we’ll wort it. Equivalent to 40cc gas.

First one I purchased for hunting camp and still have is the Kobalt 40v Pole saw. It has the 8inch chain saw and 10ft reach..Amazing how big a limb it will cut.
I need to BP buy a pole saw , neighbor has one works great.

Keep in mind that chainsaw chaps specify that they wont stop an electric chain saw….

I have ryobi cause I’ve used them for years and have batteries. 8” bar. If I can’t cut it with that in my suburban yard, I need to not be cutting it at all

I got a Dewalt one since I have a full set of their 20 volt tools. When you use up a 5ah battery, you are ready for a break. Light weight and easy to handle go a long ways.

.
Mulling over the future of these saws

I sold all my Stihl tools and replaced them with 40v green works. Not a single regret and I loved my stihl stuff.
